Easy Zipper Pouch

On Monday I posted an easy tutorial about screen printing using My Next Style's projects. So easy! Today I promised the rest of the tutorial about what I planned on making with my little pattern.
That pink tote bag was just calling my name, so I mixed it up with some bright yellow accents and decided to make a super simple pouch for my favorite art supplies.
I used my attempt at screen printing and cut the design into three strips, as long as he width of my previously chosen bag size. Then I pulled out my stolen sewing machine (stolen from my Mom, nothing illegal) and quickly stitched along the sides of all three in the center of my front bag piece.
I picked up a zipper that is the same color as the yellow fabric paint and quickly sewed the front and back of my bags on each side. If you know anything about sewing, it makes sense to sew the project in an inside-out fashion so that the seams are hidden.
I placed my back and front on top of eachother with their outsides facing in. Make sure the zipper is partly unzipped so that you can open it later! Just sew along the border of the three sides, trim and turn the bag right-side-out through the zipper opening. That's it! Seriously ten minutes later, and a bag emerges!
