How to Use a Drop Spindle to Spin Your Own Yarn

I love using yarn. If a craft has yarn in the materials list, you can count me in! One of the best things about yarn is that it’s so fun to make your own. I’ve only begun to learn about spinning my own yarn - but the best place to start is with a simple drop spindle.

The method of spinning that I use works best when you are sitting down and can ‘park’ the spindle in your lap. You can use roving or a rolag and pick up a drop spindle for cheap on etsy.
